On-Device Processing
Tristim is designed with privacy at its core. When you use our iOS app to analyze your skin tone:
- No face uploads: Your photos never leave your device
- Local analysis: All skin tone processing happens on your iPhone using Apple's Vision framework
- No storage: We don't store, cache, or transmit any facial images
- Anonymous suggestions: Only anonymized color data is sent to our servers for product recommendations
What We Collect
- Basic app usage analytics (anonymous)
- Anonymized skin tone color values (without any identifying information)
- Product recommendation requests
- App performance and crash data
What We Don't Collect
- Facial images or photos
- Personally identifiable information linked to skin tone data
- Location data
- Contact information (unless you contact us directly)
Data Usage
The limited data we collect is used solely to:
- Provide accurate product recommendations
- Improve our color matching algorithms
- Maintain and improve app performance
- Understand usage patterns to enhance the user experience
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Apple App Store: For app distribution and payments
- Vercel: For hosting our recommendation API
- Google Vertex AI: For optional enhanced recommendations (when enabled)

- Delete the app and all associated data at any time
